“Elizabeth was absolutely brilliant. Excellent knowledge, teaching skills and very approachable too”.

“Elizabeth is a wonderful tutor - very knowledgeable of the software and willing to take answers in breaks and at lunch. She coped well with mixed ability group - happy to repeat when we got stuck but kept things flowing. Would love a follow up course to learn more about advanced NVivo capabilities. The course will have a hugely positive impact for my research, and I am already using some of the new skills learned (just one day on from course). Thank you.”

Interactive, engaging, great trainer. Now I know what NVivo can do for our team project. Found the importing variety of data, including twitter! We have a twitter page but never analyse them, now we can do so. Coding, creating thematic structure using the mind-map, word-cloud, the whole experience was eye opening. We are very happy to recommend Elizabeth. Thanks.

Well paced, more relevant than had anticipated. It dispelled my previous assumptions about qualitative software. Word cloud - a great material for poster presentation. Literature review with our own data was great. Very practical, hands-on training. I will definitely recommend that you get trained by Elizabeth.

I thought the training was very good. There was a lot of learning in the 2 days. Very bespoke 1-1 tutoring inbetween group presentations. It was excellent grounding in NVivo. Very structured, valuable training. This useful well paced hands on learning experience has helped me to feel confident with getting started with my own project.

Very useful, I had no previous knowledge of the NVivo but now I know this is the software I need! I would happily recommend this training. Very useful to work with your own data, I learned how to structure my sources, coding framework and classification of demographic attributes.Very good. It helped me to make up my mind on how to analyse my data in a more managed way. I was impressed with the matrix coding.

Hannah Nelson, Trainee Clinical Psychologist, Merseycare NHS, June 2012

I felt that the training was delivered in a very accessible manner, the days were structured well and I got a lot of 1:1 support. The material was well organised and very easy to understand. I enjoyed that you made the days more informal and fun and we were able to do things at our own pace. I feel that I learnt everything I hoped to and that the package is much more useful than I first thought. I didn't know anything before whereas I feel I have a good developing knowledge now. I particularly found the use of 'nodes' very good.

Kate Nolan, Researh Associate, Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute, Liverpool, June 2012

I found the training extremely useful and very timely for myself. The pace of the training was perfect neither too slow or too fast and the class size was perfect. The training booklet to accompany the training was great to have to make notes in and I particularly liked the way you asked us to bring in our own data as it was then that certain aspects of the training was really understood as you could relate it to your own work.

Sue Watling, The University of Lincoln

Very good- Elizabeth ensured we all began at an appropriate place - i.e. at the beginning. We were all new to Nvivo so it was important none of the basics were missed out. There was a good mixture of showing and then being able to prcatice with an excellent handbook to take away. The opportunity to work on our own data was helpful, it made the process of understanding Nvivo and how we could use it more relevant. I liked the course and would recommend this to colleagues.

Caryl Beynon, John Moores University

I found it all really useful. I am not a qualitative researcher but I supervise students who do some qualitative elements to their research and this will help me to better support my students.
